GLOBAL DAY OF CLIMATE ACTION: SEPTEMBER 2020

On the 25th of September 2020 Fridays for Future called for a Global Day of Climate Action.
In light of this African Climate Alliance held three simultaneous protests calling for systems change now. Whilst we need to call for climate action, this must include an end to the social injustices that intersect with climate and environmental crises. We need to build a stronger, more informed base for climate mobilizations in communities, and to push for the call for a Just Transition and a Just Recovery. View the event coverage on SABC here.
